In a surprising turn of events, Kid Rock, the conservative rocker known for his vocal stance against Bud Light, was reportedly spotted at a concert this week enjoying a Bud Light beer.
This incident occurred only a few months after Kid Rock made waves with a viral video in which he took a stand against the brand by dramatically shooting down cases of beer.
These recently surfaced images, seemingly taken without Kid Rock’s knowledge, triggered a wave of mockery on social media, as users accused him of hypocrisy for trashing the brand in one instance and then consuming it shortly after that.

A Shift in His Attitude?
The camera zoomed in on the scene, revealing the musician conversing with friends while holding a blue beer can with distinctive white lettering, resembling Bud Light.
Kid Rock’s choice of beverage seemed to suggest a shift in his attitude toward the brand.
Back in April, he had gone viral by shooting numerous cases of Bud Light with what appeared to be an MP-5 submachine gun, publicly declaring his boycott of the beer with a resounding “f— Bud Light.”
This public display of boycotting came from Bud Light’s partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
“Can’t Make This Stuff Up”
Kid Rock’s vocal disapproval of Bud Light and its parent company, Anheuser-Busch, catalyzed a broader movement against the beer brand, grappling with declining sales.
The sight of Kid Rock, a renowned conservative figure, consuming Bud Light led to a flood of comments on social media platforms. Many users couldn’t resist pointing out the apparent reversal of his previous stance.
Democratic strategist Sawyer Hackett humorously shared his thoughts on Twitter, noting, “LOL. Last night Kid Rock was pictured drinking a Bud Light at a concert after he led an effort to cancel the company. It wasn’t long ago he shot up a case of Bud Light with an AR-15.”
Meanwhile, MSNBC’s Mehdi Hasan called out Kid Rock, saying, “First, he doesn’t just vow to boycott Bud Light, he shoots a case of it on camera with an AR-15. Then, not only does he go back to immediately drinking Bud Light again, but he does it in public and gets caught. Can’t make this stuff up.”
“TREASON”
Conservative podcast host Tim Pool chimed in with a succinct “TREASON.”
Former West Virginia state senator Richard Ojeda II pointed out, “Apparently, Kid Rock doesn’t have any issues with Bud Light when he doesn’t think the cameras are on him.”
Journalist Alejandra Caraballo criticized Kid Rock’s actions, remarking, “His restaurant in Nashville never stopped selling Bud Light. This is all performative theater for these people to signal their cruelty to trans people.”
