President Biden’s vacation to Lake Tahoe, straddling the border between Northern California and Nevada, was interrupted by reporters seeking his thoughts on Trump’s mugshot.
As the president approached the cameras to address reporters, the audience’s reaction was notably hostile.
Boos and chants of “We don’t want you here” rang out from the crowd as Biden attempted to engage with the media.
The video Collin Rugg shared quickly gained traction, amassing over 4.6 million views since its posting on Friday.

In the video, Biden responds to a reporter’s question about whether he had seen Trump’s mugshot, eliciting a chuckle from the president.
“Have you seen Donald Trump’s mugshot yet,” one reporter asked
With a grin, Biden replied, “I did see it on television.”
With a hint of humor, he added, “Handsome guy. Wonderful guy.”
Biden Was Careful Not To Provide Any Public Statements
This marked a departure from Biden’s previous refraining from commenting on Trump’s legal matters.
Throughout Trump’s three other criminal indictments, Biden had been careful not to provide any public statements to the press regarding his rival’s legal challenges.
The former president was booked in connection with his alleged attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.
Following the arrest, Trump spoke to the press, maintaining his innocence and believing that challenging election results is a fundamental right.

“This should never happen. If you challenge an election, you should be able to challenge an election. I thought the election was rigged, a stolen election, and I should have every right to do that,” Trump said.
“What has taken place here is a travesty of justice. We did nothing wrong, I did nothing wrong, and everybody knows it,” Trump added.
