Clay formed DJ Connection to earn money for his tuition at ORU in 1999. Besides hosting events and promoting dance parties, Clay supported his business by doing construction work as well as a part-time job as a home health aide.
Modern Bride Magazine voted DJ Connection in 2005’s Top 150 Best Bands and Entertainers. Small Business Administration named Clay “Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2007. He was also named one of Oklahoma’s Top 40 under 40 Entrepreneurs.
