In a fiery rally held in Montgomery, Alabama on August 4th, former President Donald Trump seized the stage to unleash a barrage of pointed criticism aimed both at President Joe Biden and his fellow Republicans. Here’s the full story.
“Crooked Joe Biden Caused the Greatest Damage to the Nation”
Setting the tone from the outset, Trump launched into a scathing critique of President Biden, asserting that the current administration had caused the greatest damage to the nation.
Trump said, “If you took the five worst presidents in the history of the United States and added them up, they would not have done near the destruction to our country as crooked Joe Biden and his administration have done.”
Trump’s fervent language painted a picture of “Crooked Joe Biden” wreaking havoc upon the country, a sentiment that has become a hallmark of his rhetoric.
“He shouldn’t be allowed to be the president,” he added.
“And You Have To Get Tough and Smart and You Have To Fight Fire With Fire”
However, Trump’s verbal crosshairs didn’t stop at Biden. He turned his attention towards his own party, expressing disappointment and frustration with the perceived lack of vigor among conservatives.
Addressing the crowd, the 77-year-old chided fellow Republicans for what he characterized as insufficient efforts to counteract President Biden’s policies.
Trump added, “And the Republicans better get tough and they better get smart because most of them look like a bunch of weaklings right now. And you have to get tough and smart and you have to fight fire with fire. You can’t allow this to go on.”
Trump’s rhetoric extended to his interactions on the social media platform Truth Social.
Are They FAKE Crimes?
On August 4th, prior to his rally appearance, he took to the platform to express his grievances regarding the timing of legal actions against him.
Trump argued that the charges leveled by the Department of Justice (DOJ) could have been filed earlier, suggesting a deliberate timing aligned with his prominence in the polls.
He characterized this as “ELECTION INTERFERENCE!!!” and questioned the fairness and legality of the situation.
Further amplifying his concerns, Trump lamented the notion that a political opponent could issue what he termed as “FAKE crimes” against him during a campaign, potentially disrupting the electoral process and muddying his message.
Trump Is a Coward
Several social media users shared their thoughts on the incident.
One user wrote, “Donald will burn down the republican party on his way down to the Clinker.”
Another user added, “Trump is a coward, as all bullies are. He couldn’t even look Jack Smith in the eye. He had to run to his bunker and post online.”
