In a surprising twist in the world of weird celebrity news, iconic singer and actress Cher is at the center of shocking allegations involving the alleged kidnapping of her own son, Elijah Blue Allman.
Cher has been accused of orchestrating a sinister plot to abduct her son, Elijah Blue Allman, from a New York hotel last year.
The startling claims come from none other than Elijah’s wife, Marieangela King, in court documents recently unveiled as part of their ongoing divorce proceedings.
Marital Retreat Turns Nightmare
The allegations detail a harrowing incident that unfolded on the couple’s wedding anniversary in November 2022.
Cher’s son, Elijah, and Marieangela had been staying at a New York hotel in a last-ditch effort to salvage their faltering marriage after filing for divorce in 2021.
Their intention was to spend quality time together, hoping to mend the relationship.
However, what was going to be a healing retreat took a nightmarish turn.
According to Marieangela King’s court declaration, on the night of their anniversary, four individuals forced their way into the hotel room and forcibly removed Elijah Blue Allman from their presence.
A Disturbing Twist
What is perhaps most disturbing about these allegations is Marieangela King’s assertion that one of these intruders claimed they were hired by none other than Cher, the internationally renowned entertainer, and Elijah’s own mother.
Marieangela King’s court documents reveal that she and her husband had been residing in the New York hotel for an extended period – 12 days – dedicated to “working out our marriage.”
However, the alleged abduction on November 30, 2022, left her in a state of shock and distress.
Marieangela King’s Court Declaration
“I was told by one of the four men who took him that they were hired by [his] mother,” Marieangela King asserted in her December 2022 court declaration.
Adding to the distressing nature of the situation, Marieangela King expressed that she had been left entirely in the dark about her husband’s whereabouts and well-being.
She revealed that Mr. Allman had been receiving treatment at an undisclosed medical facility since August 2022, and no one had informed her of the facility’s location or granted any means of contacting her spouse.
Worry and Concern
In her own words from the December declaration, she stated, “I am currently unaware of my husband’s well-being or whereabouts,” further expressing deep concern and worry for his condition.
“Since August 2022, I have been told that I am not allowed to see or speak to [her husband], who is currently in lockdown at a treatment facility that is undisclosed to me. I am also told [her husband] has no access to his phone.”
Marieangela King’s declaration concluded with an emotional plea, “I understand his family’s efforts to make sure he is well, and I want what is best for my husband.”
Drug Use at a Young Age
Elijah Blue Allman, 47, is not only the son of the legendary Cher but also the late rock musician Gregg Allman. Like his parents, he too is a musician, and he married Marieangela King, a UK native, in 2013.
However, Mr. Allman has faced his own struggles, particularly with drug abuse and addiction.
In a 2014 interview with Entertainment Tonight, he openly discussed his battles with substance abuse, revealing that he had begun using drugs as early as the age of 11.
Escaping With Opiates
He candidly shared how heroin and opiates had provided an escape from the challenges of his past.
As these allegations continue to unfold, the public awaits further developments in this family drama, which has now captured the attention of the world.
Cher, known for her decades-long career in the spotlight, may find herself in an entirely different kind of spotlight – one that shines harshly on these accusations.
