“I was told by one of the four men who took him that they were hired by [his] mother,” Marieangela King asserted in her December 2022 court declaration.
Adding to the distressing nature of the situation, Marieangela King expressed that she had been left entirely in the dark about her husband’s whereabouts and well-being.
She revealed that Mr. Allman had been receiving treatment at an undisclosed medical facility since August 2022, and no one had informed her of the facility’s location or granted any means of contacting her spouse.

In her own words from the December declaration, she stated, “I am currently unaware of my husband’s well-being or whereabouts,” further expressing deep concern and worry for his condition.
“Since August 2022, I have been told that I am not allowed to see or speak to [her husband], who is currently in lockdown at a treatment facility that is undisclosed to me. I am also told [her husband] has no access to his phone.”
Marieangela King’s declaration concluded with an emotional plea, “I understand his family’s efforts to make sure he is well, and I want what is best for my husband.”

Elijah Blue Allman, 47, is not only the son of the legendary Cher but also the late rock musician Gregg Allman. Like his parents, he too is a musician, and he married Marieangela King, a UK native, in 2013.
