About the Founder
The company was founded by Vuong Pham from Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. Pham Dinh Quoc Vuong (30), an international student from Vietnam, runs an American business worth up to $10 million annually as the CEO.
In his teenage years, he left his hometown, moving to Minnesota in North America to study abroad. Due to his lack of money and English skills, he stayed with his uncle. However, after five years, Vuong had gained enough confidence to start his own business.
Dinh Quoc Vuong has always been fascinated by the secrets of doing business on the Internet from the day he arrived in the U.S. Vuong’s cousin once asked him if he could resell a game he had off ebay, so he sold it at whatever price he wanted, returning five dollars to his cousin. It was sold by Vuong for USD 36. A price like that for an old item surprised him.
Suddenly, the young boy became inspired to start a business. Vuong made his brothers buy the old PC games at school. Within a few days, Vuong made more than 5,000 dollars in profit. In addition to selling old video games, Vuong sold a variety of other items, also items people purchased but never used. His eyes were opened to a whole new world of possibilities.
“After mastering how to buy and sell items online, I actively looked for different suppliers, ordering straight from the original sources, and selling the items online. The profit that I had from them could be much higher than the original prices”, he stated.
In 2020, Vuong’s business, Fastboy Marketing Company in Houston City, Texas, was ranked 834 out of 5,000 of the fastest-growing enterprises in the country.
