A Republican group called “Moms for Liberty” has apologized after getting their newsletter horribly wrong by quoting Hitler and putting it on the front page.

Right-wing group, ‘Moms for Liberty,’ faced a massive backlash after quoting Adolf Hitler in their newsletter, sparking widespread criticism.
The Hamilton County, Indiana chapter of the group stunned readers by featuring one of Hitler’s famous 1935 rally quotes.
The quote in question read, “He alone, who OWNS the youth, GAINS the future,” and appeared on the front page of their newsletter.
Labeled as an “extremist group” by the Southern Poverty Law Center, Moms for Liberty faced scrutiny, yet again, due to their controversial actions.
Using the Shock Factor
Facing criticism, co-founders Tiffany Justice and Tina Descovich dismissed their “extremist group” label.
The newsletter was updated to explain their use of the Hitler quote, where they claimed the quote was used to shock people and “Put parents on alert.”
The group went on to say, “If the government has control over our children today, they control our country’s future. We The People must be vigilant and protect children from an overreaching government.”
The group later made it clear on their Facebook page that they do not condone the actions of Hitler, “We condemn Adolf Hitler’s actions and his dark place in human history.”
Deepest Apologies Issued
The group was also forced to apologize for using the quote and posted on their Facebook page, “We should not have quoted him in our newsletter and express our deepest apology.”
The Indianapolis Star initially reported the story, with the newsletter photo titled The Parent Brigade causing a social media uproar and swift condemnation.
Local politicians joined the chorus of criticism against the group, underscoring the unsettling nature of the quoted statement.
In response to the controversy, the updated version of the newsletter saw that the quotes were removed.
“Our Community and Kids Deserve Better.”
Democratic Senator J.D. Ford of Indiana Senate’s District 29 expressed his outrage on Twitter, asserting that “hate has no place in the community” and “our community and kids deserve better.”
Local political figures, including Mario Massillamany of the Hamilton County Republican party, said, “I think Adolf Hitler is terrible, and I would never quote Adolf Hitler or the Nazis in any shape or form other than saying they are bad or terrible.”
Twitter users and critics voiced their shock at the use of the Hitler quote, with one saying, “A Moms for Liberty newsletter quotes Hitler. If you’re still wondering why SPLC labeled them a hate group.”
Moms for Liberty’s upcoming annual conference in Philadelphia gains attention, with notable Republican speakers like Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis, and Nikki Haley on the lineup.
