White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre recently found herself addressing these concerns, sparked by the release of Franklin Foer’s book, “The Last Politician.” Here’s the full story.

The Fox News reporter questioned, “President Biden is the oldest president in U.S. history. Why does White House staff treat him like a baby?”
Jean-Pierre, understandably frustrated by the tone of the question, replied, “No one treats the President of the United States, the commander-in-chief, like a baby. That’s ridiculous. That’s a ridiculous claim.”
However, Doocy persisted by reading an excerpt from Foer’s book that read, “Rather than owning his failure, he fumed to his friends about how he was treated like a toddler. ‘Was John F. Kennedy ever babied like that?’”
“You Know, the Only Thing That Comes With Age Is a Little Bit of Wisdom”
Jean-Pierre maintained her calm, and said, “Look, I’ll say this. There’s always going to be a range of books about every administration that’s gonna have a variety of claims. That is not unusual, that happens all the time.”
“And we’re not going to litigate those here, that’s not something we’re going to speak to,” she added. This incident is not the first time that raised concerns about President Biden’s age.
Even Biden himself acknowledged these worries during a recent campaign event in Philadelphia, saying, “You know what? That Biden, he’s getting old, man. Well, guess what? Guess what? You know, the only thing that comes with age is a little bit of wisdom.”
During His Two Years in Office, Biden Has Already Achieved Historic Milestones
“I’ve been doing this longer than anybody, and guess what? I’m going to continue to do it, with your help,” he added.
Karine Jean-Pierre, too, has addressed these concerns in the past. She emphasized that President Biden’s age should not overshadow his accomplishments.
She pointed out that, during his two years in office, Biden has already achieved historic milestones.

She said, “This is a president who has taken historic actions. Not just with Democrats on the Hill, but in a bipartisan way… In many ways, this president has been able to do things that are going to change how American families move forward, whether it’s with the economy, with healthcare, whether it is trying to make sure they can do what they can for their family, for their kids.”
“That is important. So that’s what we will happily discuss, as it relates to age, what the president has been able to do and how he’s been able to deliver,” she added.
Several social media users shared their thoughts on the incident. One user wrote, “He is the absolute worst President. I am not sure why she needs to protect him.”

Another user added, “He is a baby, protected by the media,” while one user commented, “Once an adult twice a baby.”
