Mike Hostilo Law Career

Upon joining the Georgia bar in 1992, Mike began working with his father’s friend, a former Marine.

As a partner of that firm by the end of 1995, Mike was referred to as “the fighter for his clients.”

After his early success, Mike worked throughout the state of Georgia, including Savannah, Statesboro, Atlanta, and Augusta.

Mike began dealing only with accidents in 2006, and has established successful businesses in Macon, Atlanta, Pooler, Columbus, Augusta, and Savannah.

The kidnapping of Mike Hostilo

The incident occurred on January 16, 2006, when Mike was confined for 24 hours inside his office.

Upon hearing noises outside his office, he went outside and found Connie and Robert Bower standing over his secretary with a weapon.

He had been Bower’s attorney almost a decade ago. During that time, he recommended Bower plead guilty to the other four charges.

Bower threatened that he would kill Hostilo upon his release from prison, but Mike thought it was nothing more than empty bluster.

Following Mike’s detention for just over 24 hours, he talked to him and arranged for a friend at the university to contact Bower and obtain legal assistance for Mike if he would let him go.

With the help of FBI guards around them, he went out of the office and talked to his college buddy. Mike said that he didn’t realize how serious the situation was until his father broke down in tears after he left.
