Mike Pence’s BOLD Pledge – A Crackdown on ‘Transgender Agenda’ on Day One of Presidency?

Should he be elected president, former Vice President Mike Pence has unveiled a comprehensive list of actions he intends to take on his first day in Office. Here’s the whole story.

“Transgender Agenda”

Pledging to prioritize his conservative values and address what he terms a “transgender agenda,” Pence’s proposed actions span a range of controversial topics.

Pence’s stance on social issues has long been aligned with his self-professed identity as “a Christian, a conservative, and a Republican.”

“As I’ve said since I launched my campaign, I’m running for president because I think this country is in a lot of trouble,” he said.

He seeks to assert this philosophy through a series of policy changes he aims to implement immediately upon taking Office.

Pence’s Plan to Block Federal Funding for Gender Reassignment Surgery

Among the most contentious of these measures is Pence’s plan to block federal funding for gender reassignment surgery.

He also intends to reverse Health and Human Services Department guidelines for “gender-affirming care.”

In addition to healthcare, education is a key focus for Pence on his hypothetical first day in Office.

He has announced his intention to issue guidance against “transgender curricula and begin the process of blocking federal funding for districts that promote transgender education in elementary school.”

Bringing Back the Trump-Era Ban on Transgender Individuals Serving in the Military

The Pentagon is another arena where Pence seeks to exert influence.

He promises to take on what he labels the “transgender agenda” at the Department of Defense immediately upon assuming Office.

This includes bringing back the Trump-era ban on transgender individuals serving in the military.

Pence’s social and policy objectives are strongly tied to his conservative ideology and religious beliefs.

“I Took an Oath To Support and Defend the Constitution of the United States”

At the Fox News debate, Pence used his faith to defend his decision to deny Trump’s demands that he refused to accept votes certified by states.

Pence said, “’You know, it’s not about looking back at January 2021. It’s about January 20, 2017. I put my left hand on Ronald Reagan’s Bible, I raised my right hand. And I took an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. And it ended with a prayer, so help me God. It was a promise that I made to the American people. But I also made it… to my heavenly Father.”
