In spite of claiming Jamaican citizenship, she actually grew up in Los Angeles, California. Originally Youree Dell Harris; she later performed under the aliases of Miss Cleo, Cleomili Harris, and Youree Perris. After battling cancer for over a decade, Miss Cleo succumbed to the disease in 2016.

At a young age, she started her own theater company in Seattle and appeared in a production called Women Only: A Celebration of Love, Life and Healing. Early in the 2000s, she was appointed spokesperson for Fuse. As an aspiring voice actress and psychic, she became a voice actor for Ray Liotta’s Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
