Sesame Place Theme Park Rocked by Racist Mascot as Black Children Denied Hugs in Disturbing Viral Videos!

The beloved Sesame Street-based theme park, Sesame Place, is facing intense criticism and outrage following the release of multiple videos showcasing mascots allegedly snubbing black children, which has forced parents to ‘out’ the theme park in social media posts, sparking an apology from the company.

“NO!”

The incidents raise serious concerns about racism at the Philadelphia-based park.

In one disturbing clip shared on Instagram by a mother named Juli, two young black girls can be seen eagerly waiting to high-five the character Rosita.

The performer dressed as Rosita appeared to tell them “no.” The character proceeded to warmly hug a young white girl who was standing right beside them.

Juli captioned the video with a powerful statement: “THIS DISGUSTING person blatantly told our kids NO, then proceeded to hug the little white girl next to us!”

Shocking Evidence of Performers Treating Black Children Differently

“I will never step foot in @sesameplace ever again! And please feel free to repost this. Actually, run me my money back,” she exclaimed.

The Instagram post went viral, leading to a wave of backlash against Sesame Place.

Fresh footage has since emerged, providing more shocking evidence of performers treating black children differently.

One video was shared on Twitter by @MatthewACherry, who expressed his outrage by writing, “Alright, several people need to answer for this racist behavior towards Black children at @SesamePlace.”

Fueling the Public’s Anger

The clip shows a character knocking over a small black child, further fueling the public’s anger and demands for action.

One Twitter member commented, “These babies deserve so much better.”

In a twist, not everyone has seen this behavior as racist, with one user commenting, “Now this I won’t say is necessarily a racial thing. I think for sure it’s a little extra and inappropriate, but this isn’t quite as clear cut as the other videos I’ve seen.”

Another argued, “This has nothing to do with “racism.”

“We Apologize to the Family”

The theme park issued a statement promising to “conduct training” for its employees.

They said in an Instagram post, “We apologize to the family for their experience at our park, we know that it’s not ok.”
