The four-year tenure of Donald Trump in the White House was a whirlwind of sensationalism, controversy, and unparalleled rhetoric.

Trump Has Said Some of the Maddest Things Ever

Regardless of one’s stance, there’s no denying that Trump has said some of the maddest things ever.

Let’s take a look at some of these standout quotes by the former President.

Some of His Standout Quotes

To say that he tested negative for Covid, Trump said, “I tested positively toward negative, right? So no. I tested perfectly this morning, meaning I tested negative. But that’s a way of saying it. Positively toward the negative.”

At a tax reform speech in Washington, Trump spoke about the hurricane in Puerto Rico by saying, “This is an island surrounded by water, big water, ocean water.”

Speaking in an Interview, Trump said, “I think I am actually humble. I think I’m much more humble than you would understand.”

At a campaign rally in 2016, Trump said, “I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters.”

“My Fingers Are Long and Beautiful”

During the Republican presidential debate on Fox News, Trump said, “My fingers are long and beautiful, as, it has been well documented, are various other parts of my body.”

“Suppose that we hit the body with a tremendous, whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light. Supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way,” Trump said at a White House coronavirus briefing.

“I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will have Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.”

This quote became a rallying cry of Trump’s campaign.

“I Think Pocahontas, She’s Finished, She’s Out. She’s Gone”

The former President described his new book saying, “So it’s a book of pictures, largely, with statements, but a book of pictures.”

Trump nicknamed Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren “Pocahontas” after she claimed to have Indian heritage.

He said, “I think Pocahontas, she’s finished, she’s out. She’s gone. No, when it was found that I had more Indian blood in me than she did.”

On New Year’s Eve, when the temperature in New York City fell, Trump tweeted, “It’s really cold outside, they are calling it a major freeze, weeks ahead of normal. Man, we could use a big fat dose of global warming!”

“My Father Gave Me a Small Loan of a Million Dollars”

In his presidential campaign, Trump said, “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending the best. They’re sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems.”

Trump describes a Cabinet meeting in 2019 saying, “I had a meeting at the Pentagon with lots of generals … they were like from a movie, better looking than Tom Cruise and stronger. And I had more generals than I’ve ever seen.”

Describing his relations with other races, Trump said, “I have a great relationship with African Americans, as you possibly have heard. I just have great respect for them. And they like me. I like them.”

Sharing how he built his fortune, Trump said, “It has not been easy for me. It has not been easy for me. I started off in Brooklyn. My father gave me a small loan of a million dollars.”

“I’ve Said That if Ivanka Weren’t My Daughter, Perhaps I Would Be Dating Her”

Donald Trump was asked how he would react if Playboy magazine were to ever feature Ivanka’s picture on its cover.

Trump replied, “I don’t think Ivanka would do that inside the magazine. Although she does have a very nice figure. I’ve said that if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I would be dating her.”

In 2016, while delivering a speech following the Nevada conference, Trump proclaimed his love for the various demographics that led him to victory.

As part of that list, he said, “I love the poorly educated.”

“Take This Little Beautiful Baby, and You Pump”

When asked about vaccines, Donald Trump replied, “I am totally in favor of vaccines. But I want smaller doses over a longer period of time. Same exact amount, but you take this little beautiful baby, and you pump–I mean, it looks just like it’s meant for a horse, not for a child, and we’ve had so many instances, people that work for me. … [in which] a child, a beautiful child went to have the vaccine, and came back and a week later had a tremendous fever, got very, very sick, now is autistic.”

In 2013, Trump took to Twitter to explain his superiority to “the haters,” writing, “Sorry losers and haters, but my I.Q. is one of the highest -and you all know it! Please don’t feel so stupid or insecure, it’s not your fault.”

“Barack Obama’s Birth Certificate Is a Fraud”

In his candidacy announcement speech, Trump told a cheering crowd, “Our country is in serious trouble. We don’t have victories anymore. We used to have victories, but we don’t have them. When was the last time anybody saw us beating, let’s say China, in a trade deal? I beat China all the time. All the time.”

In a 1999 New York Times OpEd, Trump said, “I think the only difference between me and the other candidates is that I’m more honest and my women are more beautiful.”
