The company has raised more than $273 million in funding since its founding in San Francisco in 2010. Eren Bali, 36, a member of Forbes’ list of 30 under 30, founded the company in 2010. While growing up in a poor village in southeastern Turkey, he explored math problems on the Internet to satisfy his math obsession. He is currently chairman of Udemy.
